Old Head of Kinsale, County Cork

August 23 - 30, 2019

Where are we going?

We’ll be heading to the southern region of Ireland, within walking distance of the Old Head of Kinsale. This region is known for its natural beauty along the beautiful coast of Ireland, the Wild Atlantic Way.

A Peaceful Farmhouse

Our home for the week will be The Old Farmhouse at Wild Atlantic Way Yoga.
The 5 quaint bedrooms hold 1-2 people and will help you feel right at home in this cozy Irish cottage!

Meals Prepared with Love

Two large daily meals (brunch and dinner) will be lovingly prepared by a private chef or our host, Shirley O’Halloran. She’ll be able to accommodate all meal preferences and allergies, upon request in advance. Two evenings will be free to enjoy dinner on your own exploring all that the local towns have to offer. We’ll make sure we head into town to see live Irish music one night, as well!

Exploration & Wandering

This retreat will provide included activities and excursions while balancing optional excursions to give you free time to explore or relax. We’ll have excursions to Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone, beautiful scenic drives and walks along the Wild Atlantic Way, a boat ride off the southern coast to Spike Island, and options for pottery class and pony trekking (horseback riding)!

Nearby our farmhouse are some hidden beaches and beautiful walks to the Old Head of Kinsale. We’ll also have lots of time to explore the local pubs, villages, and more! This retreat will provide included activities and excursions while balancing optional excursions to give you free time to explore or relax. Anne Koza Patrick

An adventurous and playful yogi at heart, believes in the connecting power of yoga. Teaching since 2009, Anne leads with a desire to create a supportive space for her students to reconnect to themselves through being present in breath and to explore through mindful movement. She designs her sequences to be both challenging and rejuvenating. Deeply caring about the structural alignment of each pose, Anne first addresses the physicality, then layers in the subtle elements of the practice. With a degree in Biology and Psychology, Anne studied the impact of yoga on the mind and body and believes in yoga’s inherent value for holistic wellbeing. Anne received her 200HR from Back Bay Yoga, and her 500HR from Super Soul Farm led by Raghunath Cappo, where she spent a month living and learning at Radhanath Swami’s Govardhan Eco Village in Mumbai, India. Anne knows that often times things don't work out according to plan, but it's in the discoveries we learn along the way we get to know the beauty of ourselves and world.
